Parent Information
Dear Luther School community,

A reminder that the LSO will be hosting a Family Movie Night at Luther School on Friday, January 27th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.† Doors open at 6:00 p.m.† We will be showing Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.† This movie is rated PG for mild action and brief language.† This event is free and students must be accompanied by an adult.†

Progress Reports will be sent home with students on Friday, January 27th.† Progress Reports now include Writing/Language as one of the five subjects we report progress on.

Friday, January 27th will be a Luther Pride Day at Luther School.† Students and staff are encouraged to show their Luther Pride on this day by wearing Luther School clothing or dress in our school colors - maroon and gold.

Friday, February 3rd will be a Patriots Pride Day at Luther School.† In honor of the New England Patriots going to the Super Bowl, Luther School will show our support by wearing Patriots clothing or the teamís colors Ė blue, red, silver or white.

The Luther School Student Choice Dance will take place on Friday, February 10 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Case Jr. High School.† Grade 5 students may arrive early at 5:30 p.m. for pictures in the media center.† Pictures will be available for all other students beginning at 6:00 p.m.† The entrance to the dance is in the rear of the building and the dance will take place in the gymnasium.† Invitations have already been sent home with students and RSVPís are due back to the school by February 3rd.†

Luther School has been selected to administer the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) on March 6, 2017.† Approximately 50 randomly selected grade 4 students will be assessed in reading, writing or mathematics.† A parent letter is scheduled to go home with students that have been selected on February 1st with more specific information.†
